I decimated the heads on those screws. Anybody ever have any luck with these things?Eric_7810 said:I feel the same way you do bun, and wow my car looks identical to yours and seeing pics with the fogs in makes me want to put mine back on.
Only problem, one of my bulbs died and all I have to say is have fun getting that bracket off the back of the lens WITHOUT STRIPPING THOSE SCREWS TO HELL.
I was patient, removed mine off the car, and for a week straight I shot pb blaster onto the screws in the morning. The time came to reef on them and get that bracket off....I decimated the heads on those screws. Anybody ever have any luck with these things?

I must be lucky because I went to the junkyard last weekend and pulled the fogs and brackets and almost stripped one screw, but didn't. Now I realized my fog light switch is dead and one of the fogs doesn't work. I got the fogs off the brackets, but does anyone know how to replace the bulbs on these? They look like you have to undo where it connets to the positive and negative side and unclip it and unscrew tiny screws and stuff. I tried searching with no luck.
It's actually sold as a unit, plastic and light together. Ebay for some "893 fog" i think.alex99gst said:I must be lucky because I went to the junkyard last weekend and pulled the fogs and brackets and almost stripped one screw, but didn't. The picture is an H4, but that bid is for an 893. Yellow looks sweeet on a white car.

That's what 893 looks like, different auction though. Again, I'm just guessing it's this, not 100% sure.
Look at them pics. You don't have to weld a new bulb on. It's a whole "bulb assembly" thing.alex99gst said:Thanks man. Yea I know that I have to replace the bulbs, but is there any special trick to taking them out or do I just need to go for it?
