I have a question about the adjustment screw on my greddy type rs bov. I had a new big t28 turbo installed not to long ago and im running about 12-13psi and i was wondering if i should adjust the screw any? If i remember correctly it came from the factory set on softest and i havnt adjusted it at all. Also I was reading something in another forum and it said something about the bov messing with your idle is that true? My car does idle high for some reason but i believe it did that before i put the bov on. Thanks

is the bov recirculated?

and if your blowing off when your car hits boost, you should be fine. you dont want it to not be blowing off at full boost LOL. maybe set it all the way to hard, then turn it loose 3-4 turns if you have no idea where it is right now...test drive and see.

What exactly does the "hardness" screw do? (no pun intended)

the hardness screw determines how compressed the spring inside the bov is. the harder the setting, the more pressure it is going to take to open the valve. setting it too hard can cause the valve not to open when it should, which can f up your turbo. setting it too soft can cause it to leak pressure at lower boost levels. the proper setting is determined by your application.
