Gotta question, what is the average milage of the cars that need to put the bushings in their clutch pedal assembly.
My car has 155K, and the clutch grabs RIGHT off of the floor, i am thinking that i will need to drop the sucker, but i just wanted some backup opinions....
Any pointers in the right direction will be appriciated, and i do realize that this is gonna be a PITA.

One last Q--- Anyone know if the pedal assembly for a 91 is that same as a 90. The shifters are different, but what about the assembly?

Your car likely has a severly worn pedal assembly. I'd check it. If you can pull on the pedal any amount, it's worn. THere are several threads on here outlining this. Also a tech article.

Check to make sure it's bleed right.
Check the adjustment of the pedal/master cylinder input rod.

The pedal assemblies mount up the same between all 90-94 cars. Although, if I recall the 91 and later cars got a design change, so they may look different in some ways. (ie return spring, pedal blade thickness, etc) I'd try to find a 91-later assembly.

Yeah, was looking at the FAQ, and through the searches i saw some of the same issues i was having.
I was looking for a milage amount, to see if there is any real corrolation between milage, and the amount of play.
I have 91 talon that i am parting out, so i am covered on many of the hard parts for the car. This one has about 150K on it as well.

Have you done a clutch/cylinder replacement lately? My 91 has 190,000 on the clock and my pedal assembly is good shape, but I had this same problem with the clutch engage point on the floorboard. Get underneath your dash and back the master cylinder input rod out more (towards the cylinder). I did this and now my contact point is perfect.
