Did a search, didn't come up with anything, unless i searched incorrectly, also didn't get any information on how to do this from my chiltons.

So its time for a new paint job and i need to remove those two small rear windows, anyone know how to do it without busting them out?

Well, yea, sorry, didn't mean to take the whole window out, just the trim. When i "investigated" it myself I couldn't figure out how to get the trim off, it seemed like it was glued onto the window or something. Any trick to taking it off?

I'm feeling spunky and helpful..............or I just don't have anything to do................

That should get you there..........and for any real work, ditch the Chilton's or Haynes and get a true shop manual.

Haha, damn, thanks for the post. If you are changing the color of your car from the factory color its best to remove window seals etc to make sure there is no "seam" where you might possibly see the old color. And, i'll feel better knowing i went the extra mile.

This has proven invaluable while working on the Eclipse. The above post came from this CD on my hard drive at work.

"Specifically the 2 paper manuals for '91 Talon (with '93 Eclipse pages)
97-99 Eclipse and Eclipse Spyder (with '95 Talon pages)
1990 and 1995 (1g, 2g) DSM Technical Manuals
'89-93 Galants (All trim levels, not just GVR4's)
Complete Engine, A/T tranny, and M/T tranny OVERHAUL Manuals (covers 3k's/Stealths and some others.)
Vfaq.com (awesome car repair site, static version on CD)
1000q.dsm.org, awesome "faq" site, static version on CD)
9 years of Club DSM Talon Digest archives, courtesy Club DSM/Tmo
The new "special edition" of the CD also includes the CAPS (Part # searching program from Mitsu)

The best thing about this is that you can just print the pages you need, take them to the garage, and you don't have to worry about messing up your manual. Then throw the greasy pages away when done.
