22spline to 23spline conversion

i have a 1990 AWD Talon Tsi with a 22spline transmission but my tranny is about to go out and i am picking up a 23 spline AWD tranny from a 1992 Talon what all do i have to change to put the 23 spline tranny in my car? is it just the transfer case, or are there other things that need switched also such as the drive shaft or front axles. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.

Tranny. T-case. Possibly the shift linkage. Some have not had to switch, but I've read others have.

do you think 400 dollars is a good deal for the 23 spline tranny its tested and there are no cracks and it does not grind
