Okay, well I'm reverting back to stock. Not like I had any mods, but... I have a greddy Type RS BOV on right now. I want to put the stock BOV back on, but I remember when installing the RS, that there was a sleeve on the stock BOV, which ripped apart when I took it off. Will I be fine without the sleeve?

Where can I buy the sleeve?

Let me know, thanks

I don't know what sleeve your talking about, but i'll probably tear mine apart later and look. If you want to get one you could probably hit up a junk yard, you could most likely get the whole BOV for around $20 if your lucky.

You can also find a real cheap used 1g bov which is much better. I just bought one and a metal adapter bolt on flange (on ebay) for my 2g. No leaking at all with that. Like xioca said i'm sure you could find that sleeve at a junk yard.

Ok this actually brings up another question, because I know how bad the 2g bov leaks boost, but, if i were to get a 1g dsm bov, or lets say a stock evo bov, what else do I need to get in order for it to screw on perfectly? The stock IC piping doesn't have a flange for a 1g dsm BOV.

in otherwords, I'm looking on ebay, and it says 1g dsm bov flange, but it doesn't have that inlet thing that goes into the IC piping. Its hard to explain, hopefully someone know what I'm talking about.

As mentioned above, you'll need an adapter plate.

You can find them on eBay, or make one yourself. Here's a link for reference.

Thats the exact one i purchased. It bolts direct on and comes with the bolts also. Just gotta tighten the recirculation tube to the 1g bov as the vent tube or whatever it is called is thinner. But that is all you need. Just installed mine. Finally no bov leaking!!

Thanks for the replies and help guys.

Is there any cheaper alternative though? I'm going to be selling my car to a friend of mine, and I just want to make sure it runs good. With the stock bov, my car just doesn't even drive normal at all.

I looked for a little while, but didn't find any other bolt on flanges for the 2g. So i just got that one for 32 bucks including shipping. Came pretty fast too. I would say if you can find a way to afford that then just get that flange and a used 1g bov. You wont be disappointed!
