I have owned my 1990 AWD Talon for about three years and after i had the car for a year i noticed that when the hood was raised if you revved the car you could hear a chatter noise from inside the tranny. Figuring it was the Trowout Bearing i ignored the noise until it got worse and started doing it louder and by itself without the motor being revved well i replace the clutch disc with the act street disc put in a new throwout bearing 2100LB pressure plate and a act flywheel i also replaced the clutch fork and pivot ball. well the noise did not change after the break in period and now it has gotten even a little worse. Does anyone know for sure what it could be? my next guess would be the input shaft bearings or maybe the Throwout bearing is rattleing around on the sleeve that it slides on but im not sure could someone help me out with some idea of what it could be.

I would figure it out quick so you dont chip any gears. Check the fluid in the tranny too make sure it isnt silver or any metal flakes. Good luck!
