I just bought a set of comp cams 101200. Do I need to drill and tap to fit them in my 97 GST? Or just drop them in? Thanks

They are drop in cams. Why would you need to drill and tap?

Nope. 95-99 are all the exact same and don't need to drill and tap anything. Take the timing belt off, valve cover off, cam caps, drop in new one's and put it back together. Still doesn't answer my question. What were you told you need to tap?
