clutch ???

First of all hello everyone. This morning my car had a hard time starting it took me about 5 tries for it to start. BTw I'm in oklahoma and its about 40 degrees here . So it started yay but when i went to put it in gear it wouldnt, this is right after it started dumb me. I was wondering why so i went to push in the clutch and the pedal wasnt there i though i was going crazy. Well it was stuck on the floor. I pulled it back up. and still had issues i decided to let the car warm up so i left in on for about 5min and bam perfectly fine drove great shifted great. WTF is going on is it the temperature, or is my clutch f,d. any input would be helpful.

bleed the clutch line. while your down there by the slave cylinder check if its leaking anywhere. or have a friend sit in the car and push the clutch in, see what the slave is doing.its supposed to move in and out. and check the master cylinder also. its most likely 1 of the 3. my money is on the slave cylinder. i know this from experience. they are cheap dont worry.

the fluid was a little low about 2cm below the max line, the master cylinder is new but the salve is not i will replace that when i bleed it and post back soon, I am installing a big evo 16g this weekedn so i wont be driving it till monday, btw I have an act2600 clutch I ordered an extended clutch rod and might wait till then to do it all at once. Any other information would be helpful.
