Well I finished putting my head back on. Got it firing up, with a little help of some starter fluid (note to self: Don't use more than one quick spray). Well it won't stay running/idling for more than 5-7 seconds. What could be the problems?
 
All lines and connections are on, and secured. I didnt have my MBC connected, but that would not matter. Im pretty sure my timing is on, but i have to check tommorow because it's dark out.
 
If timing is off , check the cas . It has an alignment also . Spark plug wires correct . Boost leak test after that . http://vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html . pic is small but there is a notch and a groove that line up .

Could inverting the CAS 180* make timing off? Because I did that twice. SP wires are correct, I will also do a boost leak test.

You say the car runs for a few seconds and then shuts off? Like they said, set your timing and see what happens. If that doesn't do anything, you might do a compression test just to humor me if for no other reason. How long had it sat? Sometimes the lifters bleed down and I had to start mine the first time with starting fluid. Once it got to running, it stumbled and finally straightened out. That's been over 4 years now. Make absolutely sure the timing belt is installed properly. I've had them off a tooth myself. These engines are easy to get one tooth off. Especially in the car.

Should I have someone help me get this engine to make sure it is in time. It will be the third time I am redoing it.
 
Just look on the gears and use a timing light if at all possible. Then use the CAS and timing light together. Have you tried to start it again after it dies? My car hates cold starts. It wants to start for a couple turns over, then finally fires up and dies a couple times. Then it starts up and idles normally. Then, once it's warm, it starts first try no problem. I have traced the problem to a coolant temperature sensor problem. But if you have a faulty coolant temperature sensor or it's unplugged, you'll throw a CEL.
 
How do i align the cam gears properly, can I turn one until the little hole is straight even with the other?
 
Are you sure your getting fuel? Pull your fuel line, put it in a bottle, and crank it a couple times to see if its even getting to the injectors.
 
the holes have to be up yeah, but you line up the the 2 marks on the cam, 3 o'clock on the exhaust cam, 9 o'clock on the intake, line up those marks with the top of the head, I found it quite easy to use zap straps to hold the belt on the cam gears, and to hold the exhaust cam gear in it's proper place with the belt..
