Power voltage pulsating (lights) -alternator related I know. but a question.

Hello.

Its a new battery, and a New Autozone alternator.

and intermittantly the lights will pulsate. I searched and the answer was "hit and miss with rebuilt alts, the regulators gone bad"

But my question is.

When i am driving down the road, and the lights are pulsating. If i kick it into nuetral and coast, it stops. if i tap the gas, it starts again. it doesnt it always during decelleration, or accelleration. but always stops at 0 percent throttle.

Can't tell you what your problem is for sure. But yeah it does sound like its a regulator problem under high rpms. I can tell you that I've gone through 4 autozone alternators before I gave up, haha. I'm sure you've double checked all connections and the belt? Does the pulley have play or anything?

^ ^ ^ - Pulsating under load, either a bum regulator or worn slipring brushes. You might want to wire-up a cheap analog voltmeter to a cigarette lighter plug and see what it's doing while you drive.
But I suspect you're doomed to do the alternator again.

honestly from expirence I have always had bad luck with autozone stuff I will only go there for oil or spark plugs only because they are close. But that is just my expirence with them.
