2g tranny for a 1g

ok just wanted to know if a 2g awd tranny would bolt right onto a 6bolt 1g? or if i would need anything to make it fit? thanks guys

The tranny will fit the 6 bolt motor as long as your putting it in a 2g. Because the 2g tranny will not fit in a 1g with out customizing all your tranny mounts.

Wrong.

The 2g tranny will go in a 1g using the 1g tranny mount on the passenger side. The other 2 mounting locations is for the 2g mounts. These mounts are bolted to the block on a 1g, not the tranny so there would be no modifications needed to the mounts for it to work in a 1g.

Sorry i was wrong! I had it backwards a 1g tranny want fit in a 2g becuase of the front and rear mounts being on the tranny itself.
