I am planning on getting an open dumptube with a evo 3 manifold and side exit exhaust done on my gst. All my mods are in my profile. The question is will I creep alot with a 3 inch DP? Im only on planning to make 325-350 WHP on my car since its my DD. Do you guys think I should just get a 2.5 inch dp to a 3 inch pipe exiting out the side?

Mine creeps like a mother and I have the turbo ported and an atmosphere dumped O2. I can't imagine what it would do all stock.

Damn o2 dumps. I would never get one, I bet thats why you creep so bad. I like that video of the dyno where the dump, is dumping on the strap that straps the car to the dyno. It catch's fire and if it didnt they would have not noticed. That would be crazy to see it snap and the car go flying.

It actually helped. It started creeping at 4,000rpm before and had full creep at 5,000rpm. Now it starts at 6,000rpm and is full by 7,000rpm.

Damn you would think the less restriction of the dump would make the creep worse. I ported everything when I put it in and never even knew the turbo could creep untill I read about it on here. But I did buy the evo right after they released it in the US

the 14b is less likely to creep than the 16g from what ive heard, and you actually want to focas on porting the waste gate area as much as you can because that is what determines boost creep. Porting the rest wont help , its all about the wastegate. ( But while your in there gone and port it all. )

I dont think buying a bigger flapper would get completly rid of it because when you port your wastegate area what your doing is making so your flapper will open all the way up and not just open up further gradually. It hits inside the wastegate area and as it pushes more exhaust out it pushes the flapper open alittle more. Or at least from what i understand thats what it does.
