I have a 97 gsx with a 6 bolt jdm motor swap. Ive done my research and Im still a little confused. What do I exactly need to run dsmlink? Cheers

Did you replace the wiring harness with a 1G? Or did you stay with the 2G harness and do the Magnus 6-bolt in a 7-bolt (rewiring the 1G CAS)? If the latter, then you just need the 95 Eprom ECU and swap the plugs as shown in the link ... if it is a 97+ car, otherwise no changes to the wiring is required.

Im not sure what type of swap it was, the previous owner did it. However, I notice two or three plugs in the wiring harness that dont connect to anything. How can I tell which method was done? Cheers

If there are a few open plugs, the previous owner might have done an auto to manual tranny swap.

haha, wasnt sure what you meant by magnus, but yes. The 6 bolt swap was actually done by the magnus motorsports shop. But is there any way to determine if my cas is inverted, just because the magnus guys are a bunch of ###s that like to make mistakes. seriously.

No, 2 plugs are open. Map and a/c
