I recentley removed my egr valve, blocked it off, and removed the vaccum hoses and now it has a rumpy idle.. It seem's to get worse as it warms up more(want's to die instead of a bad idle).. I also installed magnecore 10mm spark plug wire's at the same time... I read the site on how to remove the hose's but i must have missed something.. It doesn't have a charcoal canisiter, but it does have the two other valve regulator looking thing's.. Were they normally are.. Should i cap those to.. Any suggestion's appreciated .. Thank you Blaise

I havent done the EGR mod but i have crossed spark plug wires back in the days. So just make sure you have all the wires in correct order.

It sounds like a leak somewhere, make sure your block off plate is on nice and tight and that you have no leaks. you also said you removed the vaccuum hoses...make sure the p port on your throttle body isnt leaking and that the fuel pressure regulator vaccuum line is on correctly.

I wouldnt think that plug wire's would affect the idle on and off.. Run right then want to stall.. I'll check myold wires to make sure though...How would the fuel pressure hose be hooked up wrong, i taped my boost gauge into it?.. Im thinking i capped or didnt cap the wrong port somewere.. The only bad thing is the egr is such a hard place to boost leak check..
