Montreal,
hi guys, i just installed 16g on my eagle talon tsi and its not kicking in at 3000rpm. There is a weird acute noise coming out of the turbo @ 3000rpm.

What s the problem?

When do you hit full boost, Did you prime the turbo after install? Make sure you dont have any pre turbo exhaust leaks as that will kill your spool time. Also check your wg to see if its working correctly. A little better description on the noise would be helpful. Check for any excessive shaft play especially in and out. The sound might be from your turbine hitting the housing. Let us know.

I brought the car to the garage and he told me that my valves are bent. He is saying that there is not enough air getting out of the engine at the right time to spin the turbo. However I did a compression test and leak down test before installing everything and the results turned to be very good. compression test yield 135, 130, 140,140 psi on pistion 1 to 4 respectively. The leak down yield 0 leak at TDC. So I am not sure if this guy knows what he is really talking about. As far as the turbo shaft play there should be none since it is a brand new turbo out of the box never being installed.
The noise we hear at 3000 rpm is very accute and it feels like the car does not push. It seems to me like the waste gate is not opened enough to allow air. However I did not touch it and I took it as it was delivered from the factory. Do we need to adjust this thing and how.? also I replaced the fuel pump just to ensure I can get enough fuel pressure. Thank u all for your help.
