So I read in another forum on here that If the clutch pedal sticks to the floor that it is either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder, well I have never had this problem until I replaced the clutch master cylinder due to the seal leaking against the firewall. My dad installed the new cylinder and it worked fine for several days and then one day the pedal got stuck about half way down to the floor and won't go into gear. It might be that we still have air in the system, he said there is no way to bleed the system other than to take the cap off and lightly tap the the clutch pedal then put the cap back on. Is this true? This seems to work ok, but it did stick again earlier today. Could this be the slave cylinder like I read in the other post? And another thing my dad was in the local autozone earlier today and they said that it sounds like the throw out bearing, but this does not make any sense because this never happened until the new master cylinder was put on. Thanks for any help

You're looking at a hydraulic problem. When you replaced the master, you should have replaced the slave also. Check everything for leaks. If nothing is found, bleed from the slave. It's a 2-man job. For more info do a search.
