Someone brought it up, and i was wondering do i go by what the stock specs (32 in the front), (29 in the back) or do i go by what the tires say? (44 max psi) since these are obviously not stock. This may be a dumb question, but there is a big diffrence between psi's and i just wanted to make sure.
Thanks ahead of times.

Dont go by stock specs. I also wouldnt do 44psi either, I have my Bridgestone Potenza G009s set to 34psi all around.

when the tire says 44 max psi, i think it means the tire can only handle up to 44 psi

I know that, but which psi do i pick between 32 and 44 is the question, should i do like 40 all around since they aren't stock tires, or should i go by stock specs and do 32 and 29?
Basically asking what is the lucky number?:dsm:

Kinda depends, if you're planning on just cruising around without hard driving on them, go for a slightly higher psi to save on gas mileage. A lower psi will help with traction. I run mine at about 36 all the way around, but I don't do much racing, so I stay a little on the higher side.

Thank you very much turbo, more mpg is always good, can't see how more traction will help this beast, since i'm ripping off the line anyways. :)

remember once you start driving and heat the tires up that pressure will go up accordingly, 36psi will probably end up being more like 38psi, obviously depending on outside temp and how hard you're driving.

Up in Canada? I hope you let out at least 10psi in the snow.. haha. Whats your mileage?
I have 36 all around, 30/29 in the winters(just so i dont have to refill and adjust everytime it snows/ice)

I don't drive my car in the winter...thats what the beater is for. :thumb:

And on my last tank with about half city and half highway and about 10 dyno pulls thrown in I got 23 MPG.
