I can either get the MAFT V2 with a GM MAF ,wiring and a LC-1 wideband for about 500 or Ecu+ for 550... the real question is do i need a logger with the maft because if I do then it will be more like 600 for maft setup... also I will need a computer with the ecu+ which is another 50-100

I say go with the maft with the logger and wideband, and save your money for link. Link can be had for about the same price as ECU+.

I think the ECU+ is an excellent choice for the non-EPROM ECU guys. I've gotten excellent results from mine. If I may infer from your avatar that you're not going for huge numbers on a gigantic turbo, I think it will suit you fine as well. I'd say its good for whatever 750cc injectors can handle, and the tuning capabilities are far greater than the MAF-T. Here's a little more info: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=235959&highlight=who*+using

For what it's worth, I had to lower my boost because I was seeing 93% IDC on my 560s making the numbers I have advertised. That was also at an AFR of 11.5:1. I have a set of 650s in the mail, which I expect to sit comfortably at around 78-80%. It's always best to stay below 85% to avoid burning up the injectors.

By MAFT v2, do you mean MAFT Gen II or their original v2? The MAFT Gen II, which is very similar to the SAFC, has more settings and can be linked up to a wideband.

ECU+ will offer you timing control, which the MAFT Gen II will not offer unless you buy an eprom ecu and a keydiver chip.

You won't be able to tune without a logger if you get the MAFT Gen II.

I think you have these options:

If you don't need/want timing control:
1) MAFT Gen II + Logger + optional wideband

If you need/want timing control:
1) ECU Plus (don't need a logger) + optional wideband
2) DSMlink + Eprom ECU + optional wideband
3) MAFT Gen II + Logger + Eprom ECU + Keydiverchip

ive got a 190 walbro pump.... not re-wired, with that and 660s will I be able to meet my goals of ~350 HP or do i need a walbro 255
CanadianTsi dynoed at 398HP and ran 11.8 with a non-re-wired 190. You should do fine with your goal of 350HP. If you look at FPs site, they say that the 190 is good for upto 400whp.

I posted what I was able to get out of mine already, but typically 550s will go over 85% IDC at around the 320 (FWD) whp mark. If you're looking for 350 whp, 650s should get you there with no problem. The fuel pump has no bearing on injector performance as long as it can maintain fuel pressure at the required flowrate. You'd probably be close to maxing out a set of 650s before reaching the limits of the fuel pump.
