I'm towards the end of my swap and one of the last things I need to work out is my knock sensor..
The black back covering was pretty well ate up, and it leaked its gu all down my block..
I'm wondering if i can just fill the back of that sensor with rtv??
Is the gu an essential calibration for proper knock reading?
I don't have my logger anymore and cant really tell you if i was getting some heavy knock.
This swap's costed me a pretty penny and I'm trying to save wherever I can.
Advanced Auto wants 60, the dealership wants 90some.
And AA says they only have one for a manual transmission.. whats the difference? Doesn't make sense..
Let me know anythoughts you guys have!
I'll post some pics up tomorrow, when I can get on my other computer. But it seems pleanty have seen this problem before me, just not sure if a new one is my only route of action.

Thank you very much!
