Hey i am having my clutch and flywheel replaced this or next week with an act 2100 and act streetlight flywheel. I want to also replace any old gaskets and line's that i can while i am getting that done. So i asked the place i am getting it done at(turbotrix.com) in nj. They are charging me 325 to take the tranny off and replace the clutch etc. Today i asked them how much it would be to also replace the rear main seal as well as the axle seals. The axles seals seemed like a fine price 30 for the both of them. But they said it would be 90 for the labor to replace the rear main seal. That seems like alot to me. Is it a hard fix or something? I figured since the tranny is already out it would be a quick 15 minute job or something. Am i wrong? Is that a reasonable price? I figured the axle seals would take longer, but i guess i must be wrong. Not familular with eclipses yet.
So if anyone could please let me know if this seems a bit steep or if it is actually a lengthy process to replace it.
thanks--ryan.
Oh and also would it be a bit more usually to replace the clutch line? I bought an ss clutch line to replace the stock one.
