Hey all,

I am just completing a 14b swap into my 2g, with the Slowboy Racing 1g in a 2g kit. As I start to put the fans back in I notice that the radiator fan is not going to fit due to the J pipe that came with the kit. I have an idea about switching the two fans locations and lengthening wire. I just thought I would see if anyone else has expreienced these problems as well.

Cheers

Eric

Well if you have extra money you could get some slim fans. Or like you stated you could remove teh AC fan and move the radiator fan over and just lengthen the wires to reach.

It seems to be a pretty common problem. Most of the time, people just trim the fan to fit with the j pipe. I dont suggest swapping the fans because I have see one melt when placed on the driver side in front of the turbo.
