Im about to do a swap to a 6bolt motor. With the engine out and i was thinking about doing some rebuilt. I know i gotta replace all the belts and gaskets but what else?

My goal is to get 400awhp with this engine running with my current setup. I know the stock 6bolt motor can handle that but i just wanna be safe now so i dont have to do it later. What should i rebuilt or replace and what should i keep?

Basically i got Eagle Rod and JE pistons with ARP main studs and balance shaft removed, Clevitte 77 bearings for rod and main, metal headgaskets, Valves, valves spring and retainer wth ARP head studs, valve guides, cams and cam gears

anything else i should do along with those parts? what should i keep from the 6bolt motor (like the big rods)

Look at upgrading to a 2G exhaust mani (off your current car if you have it still), some SS exhaust studs, those things are a pain when they fuse to the block, these guys can help you www.ssstuds.com plus they look alot better if you are into looks.
Its something simple but if you have the cash and all look at your tie rods and CV joints, it would suck to put the motor in and then bust a driveshaft "testing" it out. The starter as well b/c that thing takes alot of time to get out other wise with the intake mani and all in the way. Good luck
