1. the little line on the top of the BOV connects to a T, the T has the wastegate actuator line connected to it, a line that leads to the intake manifold, and the BOV line. is this proper way these lines are supposed to be?

2. is the LICP supposed to have a little vacuum line coming out of it? because mine doesn't.

at the past DSM meetup i went to. a guy who sounded like he knew his way around the 4g63 told me that there's a free mod I could do to help me get a few more psi, because i told him I was running stock 10 psi. and i know I read the mod somewhere so I let him do it.

so anyway. he took a little plastic connecter and connected the line coming out of the BOV to a line coming out of the intake manifold. and he left the line coming out of the wastegate actuator left to hang not connected to anything! I didn't even look at what he was doing carefully and I didn't drive the car until we left, I just assumed he knew what he was doing.

so when i left the meetup. i wanted to see how much PSI i could get. so i boosted until i noticed that the needle on my guage kept on rising until 20psi!! i'm guessing since the wastegate actuator line is unhooked, there is nothing to regulate the amount of boost.
so can someone please tell me where all these lines are supposed to lead to, so i can drive my car safely again.

thanks

That is because he unhooked your BCS most likely. Your BCS is located on top of your air can, or should be at least. You need to connect a line from that, to your wastegate and then to your BoV ( IIRC ). I will go out and take pictures if needed but I need to charge the batteries for the camera and that will take about a hour.

Correct way for the BOV and Wastegate lines are: (in my opinion)

BOV - Directly to the LEFT vaccuum nipple on the intake manifold

WASTEGATE - To IN of the BCS, other side of the BCS to nipple on J-Pipe (if does not exist, put one on) You will get reliable boost controlling that way!

By T'ing the BOV line you can create major issues when you need the BOV most.
And yes your unlimited boost is due to the wastegate line.

The stock bcs doen't work like a boost controller as you think, the outlet fitting represents the amount of pressure being bleed off, not the signal to the wastegate. To connect the bcs:

1. Connect the compressor fitting to the actuator.

2. T the line and connect the third fitting to the inlet of the bcs.

3. Connect the outlet of the mbc to the return fitting on the intake pipe.

Make sure you run a new line from the BOV to the intake manifold.
