This is what my 2g looked like when it was in one piece :thumb:

And this is my 2g in its current state as it has been since Oct of 05  It started out as an FMIC setup, then went to a built head and has turn into a full build.

This is the mess I will be cleaning up by tryin to remove non needed items like the emissions solenoids. I am also going to reloom the entire thing and try to hide as much as possible, not Honda style, but enough to please the eye.

While I was at it I ordered new black carpet since my stock tan was trashed, it's almost ready to go in.

Here are some motor pics. The motor came out of a 95 AWD TSI that my brother bought broken, and since i had most of the necessary parts to complete a swap I got his block as payment:thumb: Its a built 7 bolt with all ARP hardware, Eagle rods, and JE 9:1 pistons, and BS removed. Its been cleaned up since it was pulled and also painted.

Here is a corner of my room with some of my parts. All I really need now is a set of cams, I'm leaning towards the FP2's or maybe the Comp 101200's, and then my motor will be completely done other than minor things.

And after having my aunts T-belt almost shred in half due to an inappropriately tightened stubby shaft, and having seen what snapped belts and skipped timing does i got this also, LOL. My car originally came with all Unorthodox pulleysso I didnt spend any money there.

And more misc. stuff. Motor mounts, fuel pressure guage, clutch line, manifold studs, "intercooler piping", etc.

Nice looking car, the color is gorgeous. I had a messed up front fender, and decided to paint the car because my paint was 14yrs old and faded as hell, but that has turned into gutting the interior, pulling the engine and tranny, building up the engine and tranny, and going all out on it, so from a summer long project, it has now turned to a 2 yr project (got accepted into college in August, and it put building it up off). Also one more thing is your engine assembly fully balanced? If not I would pull the underdrive crank pulley off and put a harmonic dampner back on.

Dustin

The entire rotating assembly was balanced, but does anyone have a link to the Fluidamper or whichever it is that I have been hearing about?

There are some more updates now that I have had time to work on it.
I went with the Brian Crower cams, for 330 shipped I'm not complaining. My buddy has the 272's and loves them so I went with them.

I just mocked up the manifold, it won't be on when I go to put it in the car at the end of this month

For now I am keeping the Crankpulley on until I can afford a Fluidampner.

I've decided on going with the FP3052, so does anyone know what all I would need to make the install go a easily as possible when the time comes, such as which water pipe, lines, etc???

Something wrong here, my friends thought it was funny since they are huge Honda guys. This is better.
