SAFC & MisFire

Just out of curiosity, Let's say you have the following mods for your car Evo 3 turbo, exhaust system and stock fuel system, how would taken out the SAFC I or II causes misfire if you reset the ECU (unpulg the negative terminal)?

Did you connected the two cables that need to be cut for the safc? Check all connections to the ECU.

Btw, misfire can be because of various reasons.

The MAF to the ECU, the SAFC takes the readings from the MAF and alters it for the ECU. Check any SAFC installation guides so you know what im talking about. Good luck.

the Airflow wire that goes to the ECU needs to be cut when you install the S-AFC so If you just take it out and don't reconnect that wire the car will run like crap.

Please define crap. Im haveing a problem like this. I baught this 91 tsi awd sunday and he was venting his BOV and im sure he used the SAFC to alter some stuff. Then when i go to monitering mode none of the gauges work on it. only gauge on monitering mode that works is battery. Ohh and now its back firing like no tomorrow.
