o2 Simulator for Catback system

Ok guys I have done like 5 or so searches on this topic and found nothing. I have a 93 Talon TSI AWD. I am putting on a 3" catback system. I do not know or not, but do I need a o2 simulator for my 1g or not? Will my check engine light come on? If so, does anybody know where to get one?

There is no rear O2 sensor on a 1g. Even if there was you are installing a cat-back, it wouldn't have any effect on the function of the rear O2. It's purpose is to monitor the catalytic converter, as long as the catalytic converter isn't removed there would be no CEL. But this doesn't apply to a 1g.

Well I am putting on a 3" Turbo back I guess you would call it. I am replacing the cat with a test pipe, and I replacing the downpipe, and then the catback system. Now keep in mind this is a 1g so I do not know what I need.

As already stated there is no rear o2 on a 1g so you are fine. Also not havin a rear o2 (which applies only to 2g's) affects nothing.

Other than the CEL.
