oil filter difference (long or short cartridge)?

does it make a difference if i use a 92-94 1gen turbo eclipse oil filter on a 90-91 1gen eclipse awd turbo. the newer ones are smaller. any changes in oil pressure? does it work just fine? thanks

No real-world difference. Some modifications require a shorter filter.

I have always used a napa gold part #1356 short filter & castrol 20w50, works great & solves the low oil pressure issue.
