i have been looking into the three of those tunning program's and i can'et decide which program to buy.. i was really leaning toward dsmlink but then i realized you needed a eprom ecu, and that's more ,then it need's to be socketed.. then my next choice was ecu plus which is nice but it's a little more expensive and it does'nt seem to have as many cappabilitie's.. so my next choice was emange ultimate it doesn't seem like it require's as much extra stuff with it and it's a relativly inexpensive option.. im looking for the easiest way to go but with some of the best tuning cappability's... thank's blaise

I'm sure most the consensus, DSMLINLK! ECUPLUS is decent i've heard, about the same amount of money as DSMLINK.
An eprom you can normaly find for 250, with new capacitors and socketed. Check out the Classifieds section
Check out www.team-trinity.com , local chapter.
Theres a socketed 2g Eprom for 250, on the Market Place section.
I'd save up another week or so til you can afford the DSMLINK.

DSMlink, There are endless tuning capabilities with it, and they offer there own support on their own forums.

DSMLINK all the way, I love it. Once my car was togther and running (barely) we made over a hundred more horsepower in about 20 min. Now I'm right at 360 wheel and it still needs to be tuned by a pro.

I myself toyed between DSMLink and ECU+ and even MegaSquirt. I ended up going with DSMLink. I chose it because it was easy to install and setup. And it would be comperable to MegaSquirt in that it can fully accommodate all aspects of engine control, which ECU+ cannot do (though it looks like a great product). If you factor in the EPROM ECU cost the cheapest route is MegaSquirt, then ECU+, then DSMLink. Easiest to setup, in my oppinion, is ECU+, DSMLink, MegaSquirt. Easiest to use, in my oppinion, is DSMLink, ECU+ and MegaSquirt tied.

If you are going with DSMLink, consider the FFWD eprom ECU. Its socketed and it looks like they went over every part and inspected them. I bought mine from them and for the price to me it was a worry free good deal at a decent price.

Dont get the emanage. Its very complicated and would still need a custom ecu for large injectors. ECU+ is pretty good but Ive also heard of problems tuning large injectors. DSMlink or SAFC are the only really ways to go with a street car.

thanks for the link to the ffwd site thats a real good price i think ive decided to go with dsmlink know that ive realized the eproom ecu isn't so much and it's pre socketed.. thank's for all the reply's everyone..

DSMLINK is my choice.i have had it for about a year and i wont buy nething eles.my buddy tunes with aem ems.that is so confusing!dsmlink is so much better to understand and figure out.save up and link it man:rocks:

i ordered the eprom and dsmlink yesterday...:D next will be some injector's, sense this sucked me dry on my money..im reall'y looking forward to tinkering around with the link..
