Well, I've noticed that lately, my car boosts between 6 and 8 psi roughly, and that it's running very rich (My gas mileage is very poor, and many friends have said that when WOT, clouds of black smoke come out of the exhaust, specially during shifts).

I haven't done a boost leak test yet (Will do it this weekend, it seems pretty obvious that I have a leak somewhere), but what about running very rich? What can I do about it? Will fixing the leak solve it, or I need to tune the car somehow?

My only mods (If you could can them real mods) are in my profile. I don't know if the chopped up aircan could be altering the MAF readings, making my car run rich?

Thanks in advance. :thumb:

I thought so, but since I've had some sort of idle and driveability isssues (That seemed to be fixed magically), I thought it could be something else.

Well, tomorrow morning (After F1 Qualifying) it seems like time to do a leak test. Thanks for the help. :thumb:

You're welcome, once you've eliminated boost leaks and the problem persists, then you can move on to other possibilities.
