There is a lot of dried oiil sludge stuff, on the bottom of the turbo. It looks like it has been leaking for a while and drying there. There is also oil on my tranny and t-case. I already got the t-case recall done so i know it's not the seal. Where are common leak spots that would cause the oil on the turbo ? I tried to take the heatshields off and examen it more but the bolts were just snapping from rust so i decided to stop. I will take a picture of it tomorrow and post it.

maybe the oil return or oil feed banjo. one on top of the turbo one on the bottom. clean it all off cold. start it up, you will most likely not see the oil since the manifold heats up the turbo so much, so you should be able to smell it burning.

Man, I thought you meant inside the turbo from the title :p

Anyway, DanThMan probably got it, but if it's on the tranny and t-case I'd bet more on the return line rather than the feed line seeing as if it was the feed line, the oil would pretty much immediately burn seeing as it gets stupid hot in there. And also, if it was coming from the oil feed line, it would have to be enough of a flow so some would not burn and that would cause you to refil your oil on a second day basis almost...I know, it happened to me where the oil feed line pinholed and then pencilholed (like that word :D )

Anyway, pics will help of course, but I'd check the oil return line.
