Yesterday I asked a question about the Evolution FPG but now i was wondering if the 2005 Evolution injectors (560cc) are a direct bolt-on to my 2g and if the plugs are the same. I thought it may be a good question to ask, because it would be a nice cheap injector upgrade for people like me with my evo 16g. Thanks

Also was wondering if the upper heat shield for the manifold will bolt up to my stock manifold. Thanks again.

EVO 560cc injectors will drop right in to your 2g dsm with no mods needed. just make sure u have a strong enough fuel pump and super afc so your not running rich

Yes the evo 560c injectors will bolt directly up.
I have heard rumor of them being difficult to tune with an SAFC, but since you have a 95, i would just get a keydriver stage 3 chip burned with injector compensation, and get your ECU socketed.

Ok thanks. Will the upper heat shield work for my stock manifold? And also my car is a 95, but it is OBDII??? I think that the previous owner of the vechicle before me swapped out the computer. It has the OBDII plug and an OBDII scanner can read all the codes. Any idea about this? If it really isnt for my 95 is there any way to find out what year the ECU is?

all 2g DSMs are OBD2. Its normal.

If you are looking into getting the keydriver chip, you must first make sure that you have an EPROM ecu. A quick search on the subject should yeald the required information to find that out.

The upper heat shield (exhaust?) will bolt to your stock exhaust manifold....yes....
Your car is OBDII. If your ECU was swapped out beforehand then it is possible that you no longer have an EPROM ECU. The only way to find out is to pull your ECU out by removing both side panels of the center console, taking out 3 bolts and then removing the plugs/ECU itself. You can look at the serial number on the case of the ECU or open the case and look for an EPROM chip. This is the only way to know if you have an EPROM ECU or not.

If you don't have an EPROM then your only choices will be to go with a piggyback like the SAFC, or buy another EPROM ECU (unfortunately) and go with any number of chips.
