2G ISC ( IAC ) O-Ring size ?

I call the dealer, and it cost me $7 for ISC O-ring, is there a way I can find this O-ring, at hardware store or something, any one know what size is this O-ring ? thanks

If you have the old one you can measure the inside diameter of the o-ring and the diameter of the o-ring cross section. That will give you the size (dash number). Some hardware stores carry o-rings in the plumbing department.

If you don't have the old one then take your parts to the store and find one that fits snuggly to the inside diameter of the parts and stands proud of the surface about 1/4 to 1/3 of the cross section diameter and leaves plenty of space between the outside diameter of the o-ring and the outside diameter of the parts.

But equally important is the materials ability to withstand the chemical and temperature environment. I'm not sure how you can find the correct material. The referance above has a link that gives 8 different materials. It may be hard to find these at the hardware store.

Maybe the safe thing is to fork over the $7 and be safe.
