Well as some of you know my car used to smoke from under my car. While recently i kept smelling something burning while driving. So when i get to my aunts house i open the hood.........and my car is smoking. The car was smoking from behind the Crankcase. I had coolant, fans were working,i checked and made sure everything was fine. I did a tune up on the car also, and my car is really slow to accelerate, i feel like i dont go anywhere i have to floor almost to move. I couldnt tell where it was smoking from. I think i should have kept the GST less problems LOL.

Heres a pic of my car ............

just a wild guess but your turbo may be blown and you have a bad flex pipe. the reason i say this would be the oil comming from your blown turbo would burn causing smoke and if your flex pipe is bad it might just smoke out of there. take off your intake pipe check for shaft play. also take off your licp and see if any oil is in it. that would be my suggestion first. also check your oil return line from the turbo to the oil pan it may be leaking and shooting on your DP which would cause smoke also. hope this info helps :thumb: :talon:

clean gsx btw

So i checked my turbo for Shaft play, there was nothing at all. THere was no oil in my intake pipe. I noticed that my car is smoking from the flex pipe still and the smoke comes out from the engine bay. I was wondering if i got a downpipe to replace the flex pipe would it fix my car? and another question does anybody know where the horn is. Because i have a horn , and a thing for the alarm but i dont know which one is which, because i want to disconnect the alarm. Thanks.

Yes, if you get a new down pipe that will make it not smoke from the engine bay, it will just smoke out the muffler. Check your anitfreeze over flow and see if there is any oil in it. And also check your anit freeze to make sure it is full. You may be burning some coolant or have a blown head gasket. When you check your coolant level look for some type of white liquid from what I know that is another sign of a blown head gasket. Your horn should be located under your front bumper near the top. And your alarm horn should most likley be mounted on the cam gear side of your motor. It is similar to a PA horn.
