I need help.... i just cracked my pacesetter turbo manifold and i need to replace it. (duh i know its pacesetter i had it comin, but me and my lack of knowledge bought the car with it.) Anyways i dont know what manifold i can and should get? I have a 20g turbo and on the pacesetter manifold was an custom welded 46mm tial waste gate. I have no idea what will fit and i need help.... Thanks guys.

A nice 2g manifold will do nicely. You can simply fid someone to weld your wastegate on for you, or, some vendors also offer their own custom version of the bigger evo3 manifold with a spot for an external wastegate. Either way, for a daily driver, stick to cast manifolds.

so any manifold from the 2g turbo manifolds from this website would fit right onto the turbo i would just need to get the wastegate welded on? Any sugestions, something that flows good, looks good, and is a good price?

Hey stupid question.... is there such thing as a decent manifold on ebay.... im a colledge student and i have no money for this car, even if the thing would only last me a year or to its all i need?

Of course you can get a good manifold on ebay, but it will most likely be:

1 - from the manufacturer or a distributor of the good product that you can buy somewhere else on the internet.

or

2 - A used product from a manufacturer that you can also buy elsewhere new.

What I'm saying is, there are good ones and bad ones, both can be on ebay, but the ones you will find on ebay that are good, you will most likely be able to find on their own site, they are just using ebay as another form of getting their products sold.

Stay away from cheap stuff on ebay like ssautochrome... We have been over this millions of times.

A tubular that is ceramic coated, and is properly braced would be good, and fine for DD, but you always have a chance of cracking it. An evo 3 witha flange welded in for the 46mm wg. the 20g will fit on any of those manifolds. But I would go with a 2G or EVO 3 so you can use the stock heat shields, both lower and upper, or heat wrap the tubular if you go that route. If you ask why, all I have to say is search" melted fan blades".

LOL i already know about the melted fans i got one sitting in my closet.. btw i relised that i dont have the correct wastegate size down in my profile i only have a 35 not a 46 :(, ive been looking around trying to figure out something? Is it possible to find a manifold with a flange already welded on? I can only find t3/t4 manifold with wastegate flanges on them already, i can not find a singel manifold for the 20g with a 35/38mm flange already on it? And im getting desperate i realy want to be able to get this thing ordered and installed by Friday...
