Well I have the dreaded 1g cracked exhaust mani, and as a result my car acts all broke back talon when its under boost. So I'wonna get an exhaust mani with an exturnal wastegate that will work with a Garrett T3/T4. I was gonna get one from RRE but they discontinued it. If anyone knows of a good reliable mani that wont crack on me it would be gratly appreciated.

Thanks ~Mark

If you are looking for a tubular maifold flanged for a t3/t4 then I'd check out SBR, extreme psi, or Shearer.

Get this manifold

I love it, i have about 250 miles on it so far, just installed it, and i love it. If u do a search i have pics of it installed. And i have some newer pics with it wrapped if u want them. It is identical to the turbonetics manifold except without the price. Do alittle porting and ## golden. Fitment was awesome.

Thanks, it seems like SBR has the best deals. Shearer has a nice one but its $850 and thats a little to rich for my blood.

Yeah I didn't know how deep your pockets were, I was just throwing options around.

You should post the pictures of the wrapping. I'm interested.

I'd suggest the Turbonetics. It's cast so it generally doesn't have the cracking issues that tubulars tend to have. Plus, it has a flange to accept a wastegate, so you're good to go. I have never seen that Treadstone one before, but it looks alright. Just research whatever you're going to buy before you buy it.

+1. I just got one and this thing is heavy as hell, it looks absolutely amazing.

Actually, he got the 9 sec pass on the T4 tubular and his FP T67. But he did run low 10's on the 2g. The original poster was looking for a T3 flanged, so I was giving my suggestion in that regard.

When changing your manifold it is a good idea to change the manifold bolts into the head. Extreme PSI sells them and they come with new bolts washers and nuts.

Sorry about the misinfo on evil_eagle, I just looked at what was in his profile. I knew he had done at least 10's with it though. As for removing the studs, I wouldn't do it. I'd be afraid they'd break off in the head when you tried to remove them. If they aren't already broken off, I wouldn't risk it. I'm paranoid though.

I like the Tubonetics the best because it's simple and is flanged for a T3 like I want and will work with a Tial 38mm wastegate. I dont't know how durable they are but from what I've heard their not bad. Thanks for the imput guys!

If u go with either the turbonetics or the treadstone, both which you can use the 38mm tial, U will have clearance issues with the wastegate hitting the hood crossmember, i have read like two people using the tial and it working with no problems, but mine didnt. I used a hole saw drilled a 1-1/4 hole then used an air nibbler to remove some more material. I will try to get pics of all this stuff tomm. Like i said if money is no problem then go for the turbonetics, but if u want to save a few go with the treadstone one.

Thanks for the info. I don't mind spending a little more for quality and I'm willing to spend about $500 or so for a mani. But like I said it has to be T3 flanged and Tial 38mm flanged. If I can find a good reliable tubular mani for around $500-550 that'd be cool too.

If you can spend $500 get the ERL cast T3 manifold. It is worlds better than the Turbonetics manifold, the wastegate comes from the collector instead of the #1 runner. That configuration has been proven to cost some power due to reversion. You can choose any wastegate flange you want. The ERL kind of resemble's a tubular manifold, but it's definitely cast, and it has a 5 year warranty.

And look somebody has already posted a picture. For future reference I typed: CAST T3 MANIFOLD (which you can clearly see from the link I posted) into the search and I found this in less than 5 seconds.

That manifold looks like it'll be the best bet especially if it comes with a 5 year warrenty. Thanks for the help.
