Spark plug looks weird

Just curious.. I'm waiting on my data logger from ebay I ordered the other day. But it seems to run different since I re-wired the pump. It seems to smell rich when its idling.. I will take a picture of mr NGK Iridiums tomorrow and post them..

I'll chime in quick and say don't run Iridiums, only bpr6es or 7es(depends on your mods). Those plugs look absolutly....normal.

Give up on trying to read the plugs on a closed-loop feedback fuel injected car running whatever the hell that crap coming out of the pumps is.

I can't even remember the last time I smelled gasoline, but it sure wasn't at a gas station. God knows what color that shit's going to burn.

^^^ Agreed ^^^

Seattle runs 10% ethanol for most the year any more. 10% used to only be ran for parts of the year, other times they would drop the mixture down to 7% or even 5%. I haven't seen anything but 10% for the last two years.

I'm curios what percentage you all get at the pump where your living?

"that plug makes me think of martians"

To monitor your EGT's you will need an EGT probe and gauge. Tap the probe into the #1 runner of your manifold 1-2" from the block.
