hey everyone, im looking for a new steering wheel for my car and i was looking at the ralliart steering wheels on ebay and was wondering if anyones tried them or have seen them and could tell me what they thought about it, if they're to big, to small, if the leather is good. anything will help. thanks alot.

I believe defiant, one of the moderators installed that same steering wheel and was happy with it.

(No, wasn't me.)

If you do a search you'll come up with the thread. I just ordered the same steering wheel a few days ago, so after my vacation next week you can pm me or post on this thread again to remind me and I'll tell you what I think of it.

I installed an ISOTTA steering wheel on my car about a month ago. www.isotta.com They are about $150 but really nice. The only authorized dealer of Isotta is Crowder's Customizing in South Carolina...they have an ebay store.

My steering Wheel is basically the same as the Ralli-Art just is red in different spots and about 5x as expensive. They aren't really all leater. The only leather on mine is the red inserts. I love how it looks and feels. I would highly reccomend an aftermarket steering wheel. Granted you lose your air bag and need to do some custom wiring to get the horn and Cruise Control hooked back up.

The horn rewire is about 30 min if you know what you are doing...the Cruise Control is a PAIN IN THE ASS and will require you buying additional switches unless you want to Ghetto Rig the Unit to your new steering wheel (I highly do not reccomend the ghetto rigging)

Additionally you need to buy a Hub Adapter for your car. I bought the one from MOMO which is about $50 on E-bay. Its easy to install. Remember to pull your battery wires so you don't pop yourself in the face if you accidently set the air bag off.

Most shops will charge about $75 or so to put the wheel on and this does not include any rewiring. I would also reccomend buying some black carpet to put in the steering column so you fill your gaps in the car.

i have the ralliart steering wheel, sorry no pics as of right now but i got it off of ebay for 60$ and it gives a good look to the interior and is much funner to drive without that big old stock steering wheel. Easy install, just getting the horn to stay working properly is the only con.

This is exactly how mines looks ( but this one is for a 2g I believe )
