need 1.8 performance parts

hey I have two 1992 1.8l motors and I wanted to know if anyone knows where I can find interal engine performance parts for this motor cams, rods,etc.. Cause I want to stay single cam

I may be wrong, but as I recall, there isn't really anything being made for the 1.8L... umm. good luck with your project though.

are and cam spockets the same size if i buy one for the 2.0 will it fit on the 1.8's shaft?

What do you need cam gears for? About the only option is a DIY Turbo kit. Everything else is really just a waste. However, alot of the 2.0 N/T will fit the 1.8 (headers, intake, even the exhaust.

oh, and no, 2.0 cam gears are for DOHC operation, not SOHC like the 1.8, plus cam gears aren't going to do anything for you...

ok well thanks man i found a website for 1.8l just like this where you can talk about the single cam motors. Thanks for the help i appreciate it.. one last question could i swap out the heads on the 2.0 to the 1.8 if i wanted to go twin cam?

No head bolts for both are in different locations.
