Anyone else have fitment issues with a Slowboy J-pipe hitting the stock fan?

Will a slimline fan clear this up? Whats a good cheap slimline?

Thanks

It shouldn't hit the fan. This pic shows that there shouldn't be any problems, this J-Pipe was bought straight from SBR, and worked perfect. Both slim lines and stocker fans will clear it.

Mine cleared the stock fans. However, it angled too far towards the cabin. These j-pipes must not be tested correctly before they leave. It wouldn't even fit correctly on their OWN fmic kit. Then it's impossible to tighten the allen bolt underneath the pipe curve..

slowboy......

Yes I know, it was bought quite a while ago by my buddy...pretty sure its a Slowboy that he got. But still it just shows how much room is in between the J-Pipe and the rad, so it can fit the fans.

The j-pipe I got is 2" end to end. It hits the cross brace for the fans motor.

Spending $80 for a little piece of pipe you think it would fit.

Yeah you would think huh? You also would think it would fit nicely onto their own fmic piping.

Then again I also thought my $900 intercooler wouldn't be leaking from all over the core...

The only thing I can suggest to you is to dremel out the part of the fans blocking you, and look into another vendor ;)

I'm having fitment issues with my dsmparts j-pipe. I'm just looking for another a/c fan to replace the fan. The a/c fan is thinner than the regular fan but it doesn't have the shrouding. I'm gonna see how it works out.
