Ok so I bought a 6 bolt (I threw a rod threw my block in my 7 bolt) and it didnt not come with the thermostate casing, the CAS, the timing covers, water pump pully, and crank pully. So my question is can i use a my 7 bolt thermostat casing, timing covers, crank pully and water pump pully? I dont think that I'm going to be able to use my water pump or crank pully for the matter of fact that they sell aftermarket ones that are different part numbers for the 6 bolt and 7 bolt. I've been told that I can use my timing covers and also my thermostat casing , this this true? I've already found a CAS.

Thanks for the help in advance.

PS, Here in winston we have an automotive fasteners store, can I go there and get my crank bolts and exhaust manifold studs and turbo bolts? Do you think that they would carry something like that, that can withstand the temps., or can I use my 7 bolt flywheel bolts, is the threading on them different from a 6 bolt?

2g Timing covers are a definite no.
2g T-Stat housing will only work if you use the 7-bolt head.

The 7-bolt crankshaft pulley will work on a 6-bolt crankshaft.
Just make sure you have the 6-bolt balance shaft drive sprocket, crankshaft sprocket and the 6-bolt crankshaft trigger plate.

I bet the only difference in the water pumps are how the pumps bolt up to the block, the pulley is more than likely the same.
