I installed my s16g awhile ago but it seems like it takes awhile for it to get fully spooled. I mean in 2nd or 3rd gear at 3000 rpm it will hit 10 psi really quick but than it slowly starts to build more boost in higher rpms. It will evently hit 15 or 16 psi by 4500 rpms. I am wondering if i should be seeing 15 or 16 psi at 3000 rpm or if this normally happens.

Yea its not common to spool that slow expecially for a s16g. I hit 12psi by 3200rpm with an evo 16g and my brother hits 17psi by 3400rpm. You should see full boost by 3400rpm. Most likely a boost leak.

Did you ever figure out what it was? I have the same problem on my evo3 just i dont hit 15-16 psi till 5000rpm
