Hey i recently bought a 93' gsx for 2600. the car is a theft rcovery and has 96k miles on it. While running the car i noticed that the oil pressure gauge was reading low oil pressure. i drove the car an hour home and i noticed once i got rolling the oil pressure steadily rose adn doing about 70 on the highway the opil pressure was in between the two lines on the gauge but still on teh low side. when i take off without revving it a little the oil drops adn the light comes on. i realize that the lower rpm the lower the pressure will be but it just doesnt seem to be pushing the correct pressure and im worried it might be the pump... it could also be the gauge or oil sending unit? i suppose but any feedback or problems and fixs like this would help
thanks guys

Are you sure the oil is completely full? If it is, it may be the sending unit, the pump, or maybe the viscosity is too thin?
