Compression test questions

I MAY have a broken headgasket in my car, so I'm going to do a compression test. Where do I pull power to the fuel pump, and where do I disconnect to kill the spark while I'm doing my test? Any other things I need to do? I've never done a compression test on a DOHC car if it's any different from an old school Nissan motor.

I unplugged the wiring harness on my fuel pump, and took off my spark plugs.

MPI fuse. You want it to crank but not start.
