90 AWD Talon-Every thread Ive read had to deal with people having problems and tearing everything apart after finding out it doesnt work. I bought a new pivot ball, ACT streetlite flywheel and sbr 3500 kit with a NSK bearing. Im afraid Im going to fall in with the crowd and have problems but I dont know why.

Sorry, what exactly is the question?

If your car has over 100k on it I'd suggest replacing the clutch fork also. Shimming the Fulcrum/Pivot Ball isn't a bad idea. But don't over shim it, A single brass crush washer, such as the ones used on your turbo's oil feed line will suffice for this. I had these issues in 2 dsm's and after replacing many parts a brand new pivot ball and clutch fork shimmed with a small crush washer fixed all. There are many things that can cause disengagement issues and doing this simple mod will rule out a worn out clutch fork/pivot ball. You have no idea how much of a bi*** it is to find out that after replacing almost everything from the pedal assembly to all the hydraulic system that you gotta pull your tranny all over again...
