A limited slip at all? Only reason why I ask, is did any of the 2g's come with LSD's. I suppose I could drop the tranny and find out but I figured I would ask here first, since I am not really sure.
 
kaaz and quaife I believe are the only brands available for a true lsd. MachV stocks both of them. I have the SBR slip in style...do a search they are highly debated. I like mine...got rid of 90% of torque steer...well worth it IMO

Yeah, I know too....
You could always through a Cusco LSD in the rear, and you wouldn't have to swap out anything, except for the open diff of course.
We could essentially lock up the front, center and the rear for probably for about $4k with all three diff's, new bearings and seals, and labor to install all that hardware.
That will happen someday... yeah when hell freezes over and I'm a sponsored Road Racer ;).
 
You should able to slip the clutch with a little rev when it's wet out and hang a nice little drift with ease if you have a rear LSD.
I don't recommend it if you have to ask though....
 
Oh and BTW, I wish I had that sticker in my door jamb.
My buddy has a 92 GSX, and I took a low speed turn kinda hard and gassed it, and sure enough, his shitty tires lost their grip, and he was like WTF was that, and I said LSD...
 
Only reason I asked, is when I drive it, my torque steer isnt even that bad, I have zero wheel hop, both tires grab equally...I dont even know the history on the car, hence why I asked.
 
Well, that all depends on the car's make and model too... My wife's Grand Prix GTP, is pushing over 310 hp to the wheels and 335 ft-lbs tq, and her car has it bad, and it is known for torque steer. It is a Eaton supercharged 3.8 V6 Series II, stock it is about 260 hp and 285 tq, but she has some extensive mods to hers too... I and Edmunds compare her car like this, it has the speed of a jet ski, but the steering of a sail/tug boat... very fast, but no control and sloppy steering.... Our DSM's are known for having a strong and agile suspension... so, take a little pride in that....

Hmmm... don't know what to tell you. All I know is that no FWD 2g's came with a LSD from the factory.

All 4 wheels are still connected to the drivetrain and receive power... therefore, being called all-wheel drive.

I'm sure someone could go into more detail if necessary
