what are the advantages of re-wiring the fuel pump

I've searched tring to find the answer for this but, I couldn't find one: before I do this could anyone please explain what the advantages of re-wiring the stock fuel pump would be. thanks

You get a more consistant voltage at your fuel pump when the power is taken straight from the battery.

The amount of voltage your fuel pump sees greatly effect how much fuel your pump flows.

Forced Performance has the nicest kit but you can get a cheap kit that works fine off e-bay.

Or you can make you own. The road race site shows you how.

That kit will be perfectly fine. I just made my own but I think I came out spending more than $20 since I bought more cable, butt splices, etc. than I would need just to be on the safe side. Everything is allready figured out for you in that kit unless you think you can do it cheaper yourself.
