Muffler Question. What Sounds The Best?

i'm looking for a muffler, i want one that sounds deep, not real raspy, and doesn't pop a whole lot.

IF you want a deeper sound you will need a whole exhaust system not just a new muffler.

for a gs i recommend a full exhaust made by hks.... pricey, but nice

i only have a arospeed muffler with cut resonator and it sounds deep... but it pops sometimes

I would get a Weapon R muffler. It is loud to me. You can also do a search on www.ebaymotors.com in the parts and accessories section. You can find a lot of cat-backs there, but some are no name brands and may sound a lot like a bumblebee, however some sound good too. You can get some for $40.00 if you are cheap like me. I got my Weapon R cat back NEW for $55.00 on EBAY

for a non turbo, go with the Apexi N1 thats for the n/a. Im pretty sure thats the one thats 2.5"

Borla makes some very high quality stuff as well. All 304 aircraft grade stainless. Very nice sound on my turbo car.

I chose a Magnaflow catback setup for my GS, and i love it. It has a really deep, smooth tone. its kinda subtle unless you get on it, at cruising speeds its just a nice low hum, i don't even have to turn up my radio. so it depends on what you want, if you like it as loud as possble you might choose something else... but everyone loves mine!

i highly recommend ! the price is good too! just make sure you get a catback... also remember, just because its loud doesn't mean it sounds good!

With NAs, do they sound like Hondas? I am just curious, since the turbo in our cars changes the tone of the exhaust.
