Okay i got my head back from the shop they put in new valve seals, springs, stainless steel valves and did some porting and cleaning and resurfecing. Quick question... do the lifter/rockers have to go back the same place they were or is it okay to mix em up cause i notice some have bigger opening while other have smaller opening.

The lifters should all have the same size opening. How much of a difference is there?

huge difference some have a really big whole while others have very small holes..

Maybe you have some revised lifters mixed in with some of the old style ones. Take a pic of them.

You have some old and some revised lifters, I do not knowif its good or not, but I would swap out all the old style for new revised lifters, there are a few links here that can get you pretty good costs. Just have to search a bit. Sorry I could not be of much more help.

slowboyracing.com has a good price on the revised lifters also...i think there like $150 for a set.
