Is there any difference between the 1g turbo eprom ecu or a 1gn n/t eprom?

Yes, a non turbo dsm ecu will not work in a turbo car. The ecu for the turbo models are programed to run with a turbo, a non turbo won't support your car's needs.

Not really, the turbo ecu has a knock sensor circuit and the n/t doesn't. It takes alot of work and time to convert the n/t to turbo.

What the other guys aren't saying is that the circuit board between the two is the same but how the circuit board is populated is different. The biggest difference is the NT ECU doesn't have a knock boarc but their are a handfull of other differences. If you have a turbo ECU to source the parts from you can convert the NT EPROM ECU to a turbo one. It takes some time so it is expensive but less so than buying a EPROM ECU.

Sure if you don't mind rewiring the car and failing your smog check because you don't have a OBD II computer anymore.

Stick to a 2G EPROM ECU.
